Can I start by saying, I LOVE my life?
You have the option to start your life over at any age. You won’t remember your other life, but you can bring a letter to yourself with you. What would you write in that letter?
I’m not sure there is anything about the last 73 years that I would want to erase or start over. After all, I’m not even sure that when I die that will be the end of my life. Maybe it’s truly the beginning of the next life — I don’t necessarily mean that in a religious sense but in a re-incarnation into my next life. No one can tell me where I came from or where I am going. Could there be more?
I’ve lived a great life. I’ve done so many things. I’m in the midst of writing a second biography. The first I wrote about my “death sentence.” I was given 6 months to live in 2008! LOVE The Beat Goes On was written to help other people go through all the stuff that comes up in life — a positive, inspiring story meant to reveal that we are all in this world together. When I think of it, maybe I could bring my book with me! Yes. That would be perfect. It’s who I am, what I’ve been through, and how I overcame and found the most important love of all — self-love.
I’m still thinking at what age I would want to come back…even though that was my choice in your question…
